Hi, I’m Jess an Accredited Practising Dietitian originally from New Zealand and now happily based in sunny Brisbane. I created Life Cycle Nutrition to empower women and families in understanding their unique nutritional needs in a world full of confusing and mixed messages about food and nutrition. I believe that optimising women’s health – whether for fertility, pregnancy, postnatal recovery, or general health and wellbeing – is one of the most important foundations for long-term health.
My philosophy is grounded in a holistic, whole-person approach, tailoring support to each individual’s needs, lifestyle, and goals. I focus on practical, evidence-based strategies that empower you to feel confident, informed, and supported in your nutrition choices at every stage of life.
During pregnancy, I aim to optimise yours and bub’s nutrition to support healthy growth and development, while relieving symptoms, and setting bub up for long-term health outcomes. The first 1000 days of bub’s life can set them up for the future, yet nutrition during pregnancy is the hardest yet most important time for mum to eat well. It’s my role to help support you through this, while we work together to set the foundations for bub’s lifelong health.
Beyond pregnancy, my focus in women’s health is on empowerment and symptom management, whether that involves menstrual health, hormone balances. or simply allowing women to feeling energised and supported.
Please reach out if you have any questions, I’d love to hear from you.
